So Luke had his Blue and Gold ceremony yesterday for Cub Scouts. He got all of his awards he's been working towards and he had probably the most out of ALL of the kids there. It was an especially big deal because he just started this year and still is AHEAD of most of the other Webelo 2's. He went beyond and now has an extra award called the Compass Badge, for which he can continue to earn pins. He only has one badge left to earn (I'm pretty sure) to get the Arrow of Light, which is the highest you can go in Cub Scouts and he will be crossing over into Boy Scouts in April! My big "little man" ! :) He LOVES the scouts..it's good socializing for him...he really wants to go to the week long camp in the summer, I'm not sure how it works since he'll be in between packs...i guess we'll figure it out as we go...

is he older than the other boys or just super tall?? must be nice to have gotten the height gene!
yeah, I'm sure he thinks so! :) Although it was kind of hard for him to avoid the height gene, considering! :)
Yeah, though, he IS the tallest boy there, but the others around him were younger kids, too...He's the tallest kid in his class..I think he's like 5' 1" now. Haven't measured him in a while.
